You're short, you're not a typical model in many respects, but you have good photographers who want to shoot with you, how do you do it?
So I'm talking to my friend today (whose also a photographer) and we're just shooting the breeze, yada yada. Then he compliments me on my new rope picture that I did with Robert Sanders (and Ray Savage) a few weeks back. He's telling me how dope it is, and I'm feeling good about it, and then he comes with the low-key insult.
"I don't know how the hell you get to work with so many great photographers."
I was cracking up. I'm all, homie, did you just hit me with the insult (poorly) disguised as a compliment? LOL.....
Anyway, it's true. I'm short. I'm 5.3. Not even average. Short. But it fits me ;)
I'm curvy. Not super skinny, I have big boobs, I have a little tummy pudge, but I love my body. I'm definitely not the typical model type at all. But at the same time, I'm realistic with it and I work hard at what I do. I know I'm never going to walk runways or model for Versace or Prada or wtfever, and that's fine. I'm not "going to revolutionize the industry and pave the way for shorties everywhere" because I live in the real world. LOL. But I like to think that I'm fun to work with, I'm laid back, I'm a pretty decent model, and I can help photographers create some good images. So there you have it. The big "secret" behind why good photographers wanna work with short, curvy, not typical model looking ME.
