High School Musical 2

No, not the movie....my life. Sometime in the beginning of the year I decided that I couldn't take my job from hell with the boss from hell anymore, so I would be leaving ASAP for the sake of my sanity. The lease in my apartment was up at the end of March, so I just decided to quit my job right before then, and take my ass home to mommy for a little while to breathe, think, and re-evaluate, or to ctrl + alt + del if you will.

Well, I got down here about the 2nd week in April....and the first few weeks were okay. I got to spend some great quality time with my mom, I got to see my puppy Simba that I friggin adore, take him running every day, all that good stuff, and I got to pretend that I'm 17 again and have no real world adulthood woes yet. LOL.

Then, as irony would have it, and since life loves to throw you curveballs, my big sister moved back home too! She's 3 years older than me, which makes her 26. Her and her husband of about a year and a half have been having a HELLUVA a lotta problems, basically since they got married. One of those things where it's become PAINFULLY obvious that they never should have gotten married in the first place. I personally always hated the guy 'cause he's an asshole who treats her like shit at least 80% of the time and saw this coming from day one, but whatever. If I say "I told you so" I'm an unsympathetic bitch or something... blegh. whatever to that. So now they're officially calling it quits.

But anyway, now me and my sister are both living back at home for the first time since high school. What are the chances it would happen at EXACTLY the same time? I find it very humorous.....and yet, very sad. LOL. It's SERIOUSLY like being back in HS. Yelling at eachother to get off the phone so the other one can go to bed, trying to arrange shower schedules, "hey that's my hairspray bitch" all that shit. It's cracking me up, and at the same time, driving me a little crazy.

For the first few weeks I was happy as could be in denial land....pretending to be 17 is REALLY quite good for the soul every now & then. But now that she's here too, it feels too much like high school, and I'm forced to remember that I didn't really enjoy it the first time around. So high school musical 2, I'm over you.

Annnnnd a picture of me from a shoot I did with Robert Sanders and Ray Savage. Tons of fun :)
